REQ: Little Snitch 5.3.1 (macOS) screenshot
As soon as you’re connected to the Internet, applications can potentially send whatever they want to wherever they want. Most often they do this to your benefit. But sometimes, like in case of tracking software, trojans or other malware, they don’t.

But you don’t notice anything, because all of this happens invisibly under the hood.

Little Snitch
makes these Internet connections visible and puts you back in control!

This won't happen, Little Snitch 5+ on macOs is protected.

How? Are we talking iLok or what?
All I see is a serial number entry field.

To their own server. One serial per machine. Kinda like iLok but not iLok, just their own system.

Luckily for you Black Friday is around the corner.

Why do you want it btw? It's not helping for any music plugin. Plugins are either patched or if not, iLok can't be bypassed by Little Snitch.

Some software still call home, in certain situations. That's even stated in .nfo's from time to time. Everyone know that. So don't bother.

And everyone know iLok can't be bypassed with LS. Did'nt suggest that at all.

So if you have info about an improved protection/home calling serial number particular on the new releases, please feel free to share.
In the past there were both entire cracks (patched) and working serials for LS, just as well as there's been times with long delay between releases before.

And one last thing. Although Flack Friday is round the corner, I don't expect a lockdown on request section on AZ, so please don't bother about the reason why people chose to place requests. ;-)

Use LuLu instead. it is free and lighter.

@interstellar, a "firewall" application like LuLu or Little Snitch prevents outbound traffic from programs which may have been coded to "phone home".
It is not to gain authorization; it is to maintain it.
