The Odyssey Collection: Expanded (OX) is meticulously crafted to be the cornerstone of your sonic arsenal. OX represents our latest, most comprehensive general library developed in exclusive collaboration with Academy Award®-winning sound editors, Mark Mangini (Blade Runner 2049, Mad Max: Fury Road) and Richard L. Anderson (The Lion King, Edward Scissorhands). As the second library in The Odyssey Collection following Odyssey Essentials (OE), OX includes all of OE and robustly expands Odyssey’s celebrated depth, breadth, professional quality, and awe-inspiring character.
To create OX, we carefully curated over 32,000 files from Mark Mangini and Richard L. Anderson’s private library drawing from work on more than 250 big-budget feature films and TV shows across 30 years. Driven by feedback from OE users, we then invested over 10,000 hours thoroughly editing, cataloging, and mastering sounds from most in-demand categories including Ambiences, Combat, Crowd Walla, Foley, Vehicles and beyond. The result is our pride and joy; a go-to, highly intuitive wealth of world-class sounds ready to inspire and create.
