REQ: Al Joseph Creative Harmony Workshop

Being able to implement creative harmony is about the color in your visual and aural story. It's like taking a black & white TV show and bursting it into full color and this tutorial is going to transform you into a master painter. I'm going show you how to bring the full flavor of harmony out of every note you've written down by using the advanced techniques I learned from Berklee College Of Music and many of my favored world-renown colleagues.

First we start out with my Modal Classroom covering every inch of my knowledge from basic theory to more advanced concepts such as modes, modal origins, and how they're used when writing melodies, soloing (or improvising), and chord progressions. Next we dive into the concept of chord scales and how to ear train yourself to identify harmony in such a way where you'll never have to second guess yourself when creating music or improvising again.
