Multi-Track Video Jams - You Control the Mix!

In this edition of In The Jam, Corey Congilio has put together 10 multi-track video jams across a wide variety of feels, tempos, and keys. They’re all grooves that you’ll typically encounter at any blues or rock jam session.

On each track, Corey lays down a rhythm part from start to finish and then takes a couple of choruses worth of solos leaving choruses open for you to solo over as well. All in all, you’ll get a great idea of how he would approach a jam situation.

The coolest thing about this is the ability to switch videos between my rhythm and soloing performances as well as adjust the volume, mute or solo the parts. You can even remove Corey's rhythm or lead part, and you can play those. You can mute the bass or drums and play those parts. Singers, horn players, keyboard players -- you can all join in the jam, too!

Along with all the performance videos, Corey gives you my commentary about the things he was listening for, my approaches, note choices, scale choices, things he's reacting to -- his overall concepts and guidelines. You’ll also get all the video, tab, and notation for both the rhythm and lead guitar parts.
