In this course you will learn how to:
Use the Circle of fifths and Camelot wheel
Create a more diverse track that heightens the storyline by accentuation major and minor to intensify the mood
Use the hierarchy of scale (tonic, dominant, leading tone etc.)
Bring tension and release as you need them
Write stronger melodies and chord progressions
Use Counterpoint, and other ‘tricks’ for when you get stuck
Use concepts that will give illusion of your track getting bigger or smaller
Know when and how to add instruments to build your mix
Create stronger drops
Write a relatable chord progression to your pre-existing melody
Write a relatable melody to your chord progression
Write a bassline from your melody or chord progression.
