Audionamix, the industry leader in audio source separation, is officially releasing XTRAX STEMS, the world’s first fully-automatic stem creator. XTRAX STEMS can easily separate any song into its drum, vocal and remaining music components. Created for DJs, music producers and remix artists, XTRAX STEMS allows users to create multitrack content to control during live sets, opening up possibilities for easy sampling and a cappella creation! XTRAX STEMS includes export compatibility with Native Instruments’ revolutionary Stems file format, making it easier than ever to integrate results into live sets, new mashups and remixes.

XTRAX STEMS can be used also by musicians to practice along with their favorite tracks. Singers and drummers can play along with the song with the vocals or drums turned off. They can also listen to soloed vocal or drum parts to spot all the details of the original performance, vocal harmonies, and mixing techniques.

No demo but I will say that back in late-2014 to early-2015 there was a time period where Audionamix Trax Pro was able to be demoed. I tried that. Then I was also one of the beta testers for the new Trax Pro with Speech removal or whatever in mid-2016. From what I can say, this is no ordinary vocal removal software. This technology is very advanced far beyond the "center channel remover" type crap. Because I was able to take a stereo track (a Kia Motors car commercial from 2008) that had all channels mixed to the center. A center channel removal would mute the whole audio track and it would be just dead silence because the whole thing was center-panned. In Audionamix stuff, I was able to extract the guy talking (narrator) from the track and just have the song in the background playing... almost completely undamaged. I could still hear the track clearly.
In 2009 I wanted to make instrumental versions of my favorite songs so I could sing them at Karaoke night at my high school (me, liking underground indie rock music and not wanting to sing to Rihanna, the catalog they had was not my thing). So I looked into how to remove vocals to songs and one forum reply made a good analogy on what the process was like:
"Removing vocals from an audio file without damaging other important elements (like drums, bass, etc) is like trying to remove flour from a cake after the cake has already been baked, without destroying the rest of the cake. It's virtually impossible."
That being said, I think Audionamix found out how to remove the flour from an already-baked cake without destroying the rest of the cake. Hence, why it's expensive.
Although, you don't just import a song and it removes the vocals. It will do a lot of it for you, but you're gonna have to do some tweaking afterwards. Some tweaking takes longer than others. For example, the Kia car commercial took a long time. But, if you wanted to make an instrumental version of a pop song then the amount of time you'd spend tweaking would be very minimal.

All in all, this is a good thing to have especially if you wanna make stems of your favorite stuff. It doesn't have to be vocals. If for example you wanted to extract and/or isolate the electric guitar track from a Red Hot Chili Peppers song then you could definitely do that, too. Really anything. Or if you're recording a song in the studio and all of a sudden your wife starts yelling at you in the background for forgetting the bread and milk today at the store, you could remove that too while still preserving the quality of your track. Although that case it would just be easier to redo the track again if she doesn't murder you before then LOL.

All in all, this is pretty superb technology. I wish this existed in 2009. But then honestly, I was so broke back then that I'd probably have done just about anything for even a $3 turkey sandwich. Let alone a $500+ piece of audio editing software. So it woulda been pointless anyways.

Hope this helps, guys.
