REQ: Purgatory Creek Soundware Tine Collection

The Purgatory Creek Soundware Tine Collection features deeply sampled recreations of four classic tine-based electro-mechanical pianos. Included is the rare Sparkletop (or Silvertop) piano that started it all. With its felt hammers and Raymac tines, its funky tone sounds radically different from the models that would follow. Many players consider 1974-75 to be the golden-era for the instrument so a beautiful Torrington tine Mark I from 1975 is included. By the end of the 1970s, Schaller tines were used creating another noticeable tone variation and the collection includes an excellent example from 1980. Finally, the Mark V (1984) with its many improvements to tone and playability rounds out this unique collection of instruments.

The samples are highly detailed, incorporating as many as 20 velocity layers. Release samples are also included.
