The Siel has been hanging around my studio for years so I thought it would be fun to make a very, very basic kontakt instrument from it.
The Siel PX is a weird fuzzy,noisy Italian electric piano/bass keyboard.There are better electric pianos out there, but the sound the Siel makes is a bit different to the norm, maybe twist it up with some filter plugin or something. The original machine I have has a very clunky keyboard and works when it feels like it, so I made this little sample bank of it and Anders kindly made a lovely GUI for it.

Elektrik Kalimba is a funky fusion of African and American, designed to sound like the kind of electric piano a Zulu teenager might hotrod up when he'd had enough of tribal rain dances and wanted to get his groove on. It started life as a 3-octave electric kalimba – or mbira, or karimba, or marimba; basically, an African folk thumb piano. Our kalimba was electric from the start, in that it was fitted with a pickup for amplification; but really, it was that row of thumb-plucked tines that set us thinking. Tines; electric pickups; this thing wants to be a Rhodes, right?

Human/synthesis hybrid. Heartbeat K by 9 Soundware is a set of instruments for the Kontakt sampler by Native Instruments. The idea behind the collection is the transformation of recordings of the human heart and other internal organs with the advanced signal processing capabilities of Kontakt.

The instruments are based on 224 samples. They were captured using an electronic stethoscope, which is more sensitive and capable of capturing quieter sounds compared to acoustic stethoscopes.
