An old Philco 6-tube amplifier has been extensively sampled to use as a unique tone-shaping tool in Nebula. Much time and effort went into making sure that the end results were faithful to the hardware, which sounds great, and was sold with several phonograph consoles (model G1708, for example) back in the 50ā€²s. It was sampled in 3 different hardware setups (using Lynx Aurora), for 3 different flavors. For all 3, the unitā€™s bass and treble knobs were sampled so that Nebula could recreate the behavior of the unit across all possible combinations of the two. The ā€˜bassā€™ knob mostly acts as an adjustable high pass, and ā€˜trebleā€™ as a shelf. Together they can also be used to create ā€™tilt-likeā€™ eq setups (check the freq response graphs in manual to see whatā€™s possible).

Based on a clever piece of analog hardware designed to give you a pad and an instant kick sound at the same time. This library came about through the frustration of having to use quite a few plugins ITB to get a good kick sound. In my studio I had lying around one of the EW Kick pads and decided to make a library using it. Using 6 classy preamps to form the basis of the sounds this library will give you a first class acoustic kick sound. Preamps used were GML, Safesound P1, a Valve preamp, Broadhurst gardens one, Neve 1073 and the 5033 as a line input. Two clean ā€“ no preamp settings are given as well.

'Gabi Masso Oriental String Ensembles 7' contains Middle Eastern string arrangements performed by an ensemble of 11 violins, three violas and a cello. The files are presented in ACID/WAV and Apple Loops formats.

These Middle Eastern string arrangements were performed by top session players and were recorded in one of Istanbul's finest studios. All instruments were first recorded together in stereo and then overdubbed to add depth to the sound.
