There's no reason to be depressed nor angry. Every loss means a new conquest - I bet a new Team will come up some day and supply both MAC and PC worlds with their releases! It should be a Team able to serve both Operation Systems.

Nothing new really. Assign/Peace Out. Did a fairly good job, but then they took the high steep to mass-release and yep lost much quality in their releases. Just look how many fixes, repacks etc. that were hasted, turned into rush work. No bad tone in my voice at all just pure reality ;) and Yes trust me when I say this...

ASSIGN, it's been a treat to watch you develop over the years into such consistently good and staggeringly prolific masters. My main concern for you and all of your fellow tech ninjas is to see that you retire voluntarily, well before any trouble comes into your lives. It seems that is the case and I'm relieved and happy for you to have made it through.

To everyone else, I hope you realize just how challenging the work that ASSIGN and the others do really is. That type of knowledge and skill takes years and lots of talent to develop. They gift ALL of it to us for FREE, and in doing so, shower us with a nearly endless supply of inspiring tools. More important, IMO, all of these legendary crews helped establish a culture of generosity and mutual sharing and support. These brilliant crews along with the dedicated site and forum operators and moderators, take huge risks to keep that great vibe alive and for that, I am Grateful.

And let's not forget Radium. They were the first in the audio warez scene to raise the bar to the standards that we take for granted today, the first to really become a trusted brand name. And of course there was also Oxygen, H20, Paradox, BEAT, UNION, Dynamics and so many others. AIR, however are in a special class of their own. I still can't believe how lucky we've been to have them on our side. So, if you're ever feeling impatient or find yourself whining because some new toy you want, isn't there for you to play with in your crib, just remember:

COMPLAINING DRAINS ALL OF YOUR INTELLIGENCE INTO A PILE OF RANCID JELLY THAT IS RELEASED INTO THE WORLD EVERY TIME YOU SPEAK.

COMPLAINING MAKES YOU INTO THE TALKING DEAD

The folks who complain and demand things as if they're the Queen of England need to CHILL THE HELL OUT, AND SIT THE FUC* DOWN SOMEWHERE. How retarded are you people to believe you're simply "entitled" to all this stuff, and that everyone curves to your beckoning call. Folks like ASSiGN were incredible, and you're nothing but wannabe "musicians" who are so unbelievably DELUDED that you won't ever amount to anything in the music business ANYWAY. So PISS OFF.

Now we're starting to feel the crisis in new releases... but it's really about time to use all the tools we've got to the brim. Knowing it in depth, how some synthesiser works is so rewarding and makes me happy, not acquiring new plugins all the time. Take your time and learn all the plugins you've got. I guarantee you, you'll feel better than downloading new stuff every day. ;)

I will miss some updates to the ones I already use, though. I hope somebody will crack all my favourites like D16, Waves [NLS is a little buggy and surely there will be some update soon], U-he plugins, ValhallaDSP, DMGAudio, Fabfilter, Loomer plugins, Cytomic, Kontakt 5, ... I just can't afford all these, yet. And that's the point of using warez, isn't it? :( I'm going to definitely take the plunge and buy some that really are the essence of my virtual studio... like ValhallaDSP plugins, Cytomic Glue, and DMG Audio. I've been trying them before buying them enough to see that they're great plugins from great guys, and not so expensive. :)
