My dear friend Olymoon has passed away on 2024.04.02, after desperately fighting cancer for one year.
despite enormous suffering, he has been with us and helping until his last days.

He's been our moderator for the last 10 years, at some point practically replacing me, while i was going through the hardest period in my life.

This is so sad to hear.

I don't know any music producer who has not been affected by this site, and by extension any producer who does not know Olymoon, and his help in times of confusion. Always matter-of-fact, to the point, and available for help, that's how I will remember him.

This long thread is a testament to how many lives you touched.

Thanks for everything, Olymoon, you will be missed deeply.

Olymoon was a great moderator. He must have been a good person because if people were arguing he could stop them and still maintain good vibe and be polite. Even though he must have had to say the same thing about rules thousands of times, he still managed to say it in nice way

Oly managed the task of serving and helping us "users" for as long as I have dwelled here. Always kind, helpful, correct, rightheous. Trusted all the way by me, and as I recall - the rest of all of us members, and the anonymous .. He contributed with "that" extra assistance for every user that went lost in the audio-production-jungle. Just to guide us/them to the correct path to solve our problems, needs and concerns. Oly is a legend and will always be remembered as one. Pray for his family and strengthen them, to overcome this difficult moment.
