An Outside of the Box Experience
CR-78 -- Cherry Audio's first virtual drum machine -- accurately recreates the punchy analog sounds and 34 onboard preset rhythms of the first true classic drum machine and takes it much further. We've done away with the complex beat programming, replaced it with a familiar X0X-style button-per-step interface, and added an easy-to-use song mode for pattern chaining. Unlike sample-based emulations, Cherry Audio's CR-78 uses modeled synthesis to recreate the classic tones of the original and makes a quantum leap forward by making these sounds fully editable. Four studio-quality effects are provided, with a uniquely fast and fun "send button" for each individual tone in the effects and mixer section, which also includes a complete mixer, compressor, and a six-band graphic EQ.

dEQ6 controls the filter gain of each band by a compressor/expander. This reduces or increases the gain in a specific frequency range, depending on the program material. The detector signal for the compressor/expander is processed by a pre filter which is controlled by the centre frequency and Q-factor of the dynamic filter. It's a pure MIDI plugin, so it has to be routed to either software or hardware synth in any VST-enabled DAW, such as FL Studio, Ableton Live, Cubase, Reaper, etc.), there is also MIDI FX version to use in Logic Pro X / MainStage on Mac.

Basically you need to program some pattern in BlueARP (it's quite fast with its matrix editor), then you play some chords and BlueARP will generate melodic phrases from this chords, according to the pattern you programmed.
