What Lee Scratch Perry is to reggae, Dusty is to cumbia. A composer, arranger, and ringmaster, Oliveira reinterprets the principals of the Jamaican sound systems of the 1970s, mashing grimey, electro bass sounds together. In his live performances, he invites a panoply of MCs, singers, musicians, and other DJs to join the stage.
