“2RuleFilter” is a self-resonant moog type filter that allows the filter cut-off frequency to be controlled manually, or by LFO, or by an envelope follower. It has a interresting feature called “scrambler” that plays filtered signal randomly depending on the selected beat. The “mix” knob mixies wet and dry signals, The “volume” knob is for setting the output volume level. The”Bit crusher” produces hard sound. Using its scramble feature you can maintain the rhythmic, choppy, buffered and tempo sync output.

The piano we have chosen for this sample library is the Futura II, made by Nordiska Pianofabriken, Vetlanda, Sweden, in 1974.
The goal behind the Nordic Upright Piano is to capture the ring and dynamics of a good essential Swedish piano. This is a sampled piano that gives you freedom to place it in any ambient environment of your choice. The instrument was sampled in mono and the position of the close positioned microphone was changed per each octave. Then the piano was “re-built” in the digital domain by giving each string it’s own position in the stereo field. The result is a dry piano that gives you the flexibility to place it in any sonic environment you like. The recording was supervised by an authorized concert piano technician to secure that it was properly tuned. Nordic Upright piano is sampled in 5 velocity layers at most, with 5 layers for note and 5 for release samples for the whole key-range A0-C8 and seamlessly looped.

The Persian Santur is a trapezoid shaped instrument with 72 strings and a 3 octave range. Similar types of instrument could be found all over the world;
“Santoor” in India, “Yang qin” in China, “Hammered Dulcimer” in England and “Hackbräde” in Sweden. They are all slightly different in the amount of strings and the timbre but with similar constructions.
We have sampled the Persian Santur with 2 types of mallets in 3 velocities,
“Santur 1” (hard mallets) and “Santur 2” (soft mallets).
You also get a huge set of different glisses, fx both tonal and percussive.
