This collection of drum samples and percussion instruments was created during a training "Sampling and creation of virtual instruments" provided by Julien TAUBAN (loops of the cream) from 28/10 to 1/11 2019, to Palace Studios in Moulins, France.

The recordings and the edition of the samples were made by Xavier Robin, Antoine Zago, Lucas Barbier, Camille de Grasset, Thomas Zago, Didier Robin and Julien Tauban.
For recording, the VR1, AKG C480b, Neumann TLM170 and Sennheiser MD441 microphones were used.

Re-Mastered Drum Breaks is one of the largest collection of original sourced and re-mastered drum breaks available to download online. In total over the past 5 years we have source 184 vintage drum breaks that have been recorded directly from the original vinyl or tape. Each loop has been perfectly sync’d to one of 39 different BPM’s, ranging from 61 BPM to 175 BPM. Each loop has been carefully re-mastered in the Audio Animals mastering studio, giving dull lifeless drums a modern 2019 lease of life.

This virtual instrument was created by Thomas ZAGO and Didier ROBIN during a training "Sampling and creation of virtual instruments" provided by Julien TAUBAN from 28/10 to 1/11 2019, at the Palace Studios in Moulins, France. Thanks to Baptiste "BaBapt" Mussier for the loan of his instrument.

This Balafon was recorded with 6 velocity levels, on two different sockets constituting 2 "Round-Robin". The Samplé instrument is based on the Pentatonic mode. We propose it here in Chromatic.

Samples are in WAV format, 48kHz, 24bit (stereo WAV).
