Here we have a happy little fiddle performing in D. Although itā€™s a one-trick pony, it is detailed, intimate, imperfect, and alive. As long as youā€™re playing in the key of D, this little fiddle will be happy. The modwheel controls dynamics. It was sampled at 120 bpm, and will tempo sync to your DAW, though the rhythm can be a little wonky at times. For years Iā€™ve been dragging my feet trying to capture the idea of sampling ā€œperformances,ā€ deconstructing them, reconstructing them, and then making them playable. Some of my earlier submissions touch on this idea.

Acceleration - Dynamic Filter

Chris Johnson has lots of great plugins, freeware and open source. One, which I like and used a lot, is Acceleration. Great for taming fret noises of bass guitar, fingernails on acoustic guitar, cymbals etc. I just copy & pasted the main part of the open source code and added GUI, metering, improved Mix parameter, Inverse action switch and dither On/Off switch. It sounds the same as the original, but I prefer to have some animation on the screen, I hope some of you will find this usable also.
