Hey Intrinsic, hope you are well!

Most often Udemy courses seems like jokes to me. But in this case, I've seen a bit of it, and I would say that it depends on your level. If you are a beginner and don't know all of your scales inside out, this course actually seems good to me.

And if you first read what one of the greatest, Walter Gieseking, had to say about scales and how to practice them you can't go wrong:

(page 51-52)

I was thinking the same... I need something that tells me the right way to put your fingers and all the technique that goes with that.

can anyone comment if it's worth downloading?

I commented above. But, to make your own mind up, you might want to go to the Udemy site where you can watch a couple of lessons for free. It sure is a big download, so it might be worth watching some parts first.

Any torrent link!?... is impossible to download with sharing sites...

How is it impossible? I'm getting nearly 1MB/s with UploadRocket...? Seems just as fast if not faster than P2P Torrents in my experience anyway.

Come on, I can download only at 400Kb/s and in this type of files I leave my NAS doing the job with torrents, impossible with sharing sites.

@Marcus AR
NOT impossible, you only need a little bit of patience if you really want it ... Otherwise you can get it really quick by paying 42€ for the course or looking yourself for a torrent in the iNet ... But of course, it's more easy to ask others to do our job ... and complain if nobody "help" us as we expect, isn't it? ... Downloading myself from filemoney at 720 KB/s (more or less) = 20 minutes for each file (more or less)

Udemy is much fallacy, two much unedited talking, it's like wikipedia, anyone can publish what want, so it is not reliable. In UDEMY is the same, someone else can make a video for UDEMY to sell.

For those who do not know: there is a difference between PUBLISHER and EDITOR.

The EDITORS are reliable therefore not cease to edit text, audio and video.
The PUBLISHERS publish anything from any amateur, thinking attached to money and do not care about the name of their own company.

About the 'The Complete Piano Course - Master The Piano'

It is at least incoherent text:
"A full guide on learning how to use every single note on the piano"

"Single note" wrong marketing, unless you only have one finger.
The piano to function must exist distance between at least two SINGLE notes read, "Bach Two voices inventions".

I'm not risking 14 GB, for the marketing did not convince me.

A tip from a master:
Don't waste your time about poor techniques books, but read all them for once, each day a new exercice, do not expect precise playing on each them. Read every kind of music.

But, Practice like a religion 'SCALES and ARPEGGIOS' every SINGLE day, because:
MUSIC IS IT, 'SCALES and ARPEGGIOS', of course I´m talking about the technique.

Do you remember 'LIBERACE' playing, we listen perfect precise arpeggios and scales after some note or chords. All this diary practice, It is stored in the cerebellum, but not the proper brain, that just active motor movements that are now all balanced, your right brain sends impulses to control the emotion and dynamics or as some call it: velocities.

But, do not forget to study all "Chord Inversions" in triads and tetrads.

"Rogers Williams" used to practice scales all nights.

By the way, do you trust on a 'very young man' teaching or prefer a 'VERY OLD MAN' teaching you, who have more experience?

I saw in my life many good teachers shouting high with their pupils during the classes, some Doctors, some Ph.Ds and some Masters, that makes the difference, someone beside you everyweek.

I saw the Udemy guy playing, first of all, he don't know about 'DYNAMICS', all sounds the same, with poor OCTAVES left hand arrangements with "PERFECT FIFTHS" in the middle.

Nothing Musical.
