Nope, UAD will not give you more UAD-saturation and UAD-behaviour. Quality 1:1.
UAD is just a "processor with their protected plugins" and they consumpt its CPU resources; if they would cracked from DSP-card to usual plugins, it would be same, but they were PC-processor CPU depending.

Well there COULD potentially be a difference (different algorithm because of the DSP) but I guess they just ported the native version to DSP.

It's a good compressor, but colors too much (crunchy highs) for my tastes. Hardware version is much cleaner than plugin, in fact.
Guess they did it so no one will complain it doing nothing and has no "modelling".

That "crunchiness" works on some material though.
