VSL-AI (Virtual StudioLive AI) unlocks the tremendous remote control and networking capability your StudioLive AI mixer. Along with the Universal Control AI driver, VSL-AI provides a powerful suite of remote control, room analysis, and preset management. It also enables using your StudioLive AI mixer as an audio interface for recording and mixing! This series covers VSL-AI for all three mixers in the series - StudioLive 16.4.2 AI, StudioLive 24.4.2 AI, and the StudioLive 32.4.2 AI.
Bill starts off with an introduction covering what you're going to learn and gives an overview of the capabilities of the VSL-AI software. Next, you'll see how to install the software on both Mac and PC, connect via Firewire, Ethernet or WiFi, and get an in-depth look at both the Universal Control and VSL-AI Mixer.
Bill then shows you how to perform an Output Check to verify your stage setup is wired correctly, how to dial in System Delay for speakers that are further away from your main speakers, and do Room Analysis to tune your mix so it sounds right in any room. Moving on, Bill gets into Mixing with VSL-AI. You'll learn all the different Channel Controls such HP Filter, Routing, Copying, Gain Reduction, Meter, Naming, Channel Copy, the Fat Channel and more.
