Back in the days before multimedia computers when we used turntables there were no 'tutorials', we were man enough to take the 2 turntables and go for it our own selves...no training required. I find that today this is still the best way to learn because it is a method driven my one's own soul as opposed to synthetics.

You sound somewhat bitter about it. I've learned to DJ on Technics back in 1996 and I wish we had tutorials like they do now. I would trade it, gladly. Enough with this soul-feeling emo crap, lol. As if you carved the sound out from the depths on the earth on your own and somehow feel like it is yours to own.

Spare me the 'soul' bullcrap. You can feel what you want but in front of an audience, you're just a dude behind a machine powered by electricity. Calm your tits, down.
