TEAM MAGNETRiXX 07 September 2014 | 595 MB
My name is Henrique Caiano (aka Remotion), I’m a DJ and Music Producer based in Portugal. I’ve been making music for 7 years and after a lot of hard work I managed to release more than 100 tracks, had massive support from the biggest djs in the industry, my tracks reached Beatport’s top 100 many times and successfully launched my very own record label.

Throughout the next lectures I’m going to show you how to create a beautifully structured and powerful track, capable of reaching the top charts.

On these series of lectures, I’m going to teach you step by step instructions on how to create a floor shattering track. By using my own techniques that I gathered through the years, you will learn how to create the perfect drum layer, you’ll learn how to apply the best sampling tricks, how to arrange your track the proper way, and finally you’ll learn how to mix and master your track so it sounds great, be it on your computer speakers, as well as on huge festival sound systems.

As a bonus, you will have an unlimited email line where you are free to ask as many questions as you like as well as the entire project files so you can play and learn with it, as much as you want.

What a complete f***ing liar this guy is. Over 100 releases? I'd sure like to know where they are because according to Discogs he's had the grand total of 2 tracks released and 1 remix.

Remotion on Discogs

Don't be fooled by this asshole.

Why are you so angry? The guy is TEACHING shit to people who don't know Ableton. Most users could care less if that guy is a DJ or not as long as he provides valuable tips for learning.

Take a chill pill! I agree His music SUCKS but he's sharing tips so whatever, really. Someone will get something good out of it.

Did u look him up on beatport?
Because, as he says, he has a ton of tracks on there...

Anybody can pile a bunch of tracks up on Beatport. The point is that Discogs is extremely specific about its track-worthy information. You can't just drop a pile of wav's on them and claim to be a superhuman producer or an expert sound engineer because of the "ton of tracks". It's only real hard facts that will make the grade on Discogs. I'm sure some of his tips are perfectly valid and well explained. I just totally disagree with the way he's promoted and marketed himself when it's all based on some bullshit 7 year (hardly a lifetime) history.

If the music is too loud... well, you are too old.

Oh yeah, right. Why don't you Google "Remotion discography" and see which websites come up first.

Top 3 are all DISCOGS.

When it comes down to it pal, not being listed on Discogs is of far more importance than Beatport, I can assure you. Discogs have many active members in all genres, especially electronic, so there's no argument. It's the music industry source for confirming actual releases and (of course) discographies of artists/producers.

Why do you care so much? Seriously. Fans dont 'fact' check anything online. They just want a few minutes of music to get them over to whatever the fuck they were gonna do anyway.

As a portuguese guy and specially dj/producer, I wouldn't be surprised if he was lying. If you go see the biographies on some of portuguese djs, there is a lot (astounding) of bloating and inflation on them. And it is ridiculous because some of them make 10000 euro/night and their productions sound like a child's play. Anyway, some decent guys are coming up - thank f*cking god.

Listen Remotion's top 10 tracks....I can make 10 tracks per day of such music (without mixing and mastering), and I assume that everyone can do it also ...

It means that people are buying music only if they know that it took a long time to make a track?

If I remember some famous DJ's and producers said they only need a few hours to make the track...

I understand what you are saying...but after listening Remotion's 10 track i can't say his tracks are good...not even average...it is shitty music and it takes only 1 to 2 hours (Without mixing and mastering) to make track like that.
