Welcome to the COMPLETE Music Theory Fundamentals Guide!

This is a class designed for the average person who is ready to take their music career (or music interest) and turn it into a business. Whether you are an active musician, an aspiring musician, or an aspiring music manager or agent - this class is perfect for you.

For years I've been teaching Music Theory in the college classroom. These classes I'm making for Udemy use the same syllabus I've used in my college classes for years, at a fraction of the cost. I believe anyone can learn Music Theory - and cost shouldn't be a barrier.

My approach to music theory is to minimize the memorization. Most of these concepts you can learn by just understanding why chords behave in certain ways. Once you understand those concepts, you can find any scale, key, or chord that exists. Even invent your own. If you've tried to learn music theory before, or if you are just starting out - this series of courses is the perfect fit.

Throughout this class, If you get stuck, you can review the videos or post a question, and I'll back to it as fast as possible.

This class is Part 15: Chromatic Harmony. It continues what would be the third semester of a college music theory class (according to the typical American academic system for learning music theory).

Looks good, thanks

I see part 13 is also posted. Where you able to get hold of the previous 12 parts?
You only live once and that's forever.

Parts 1 to 11 are on this site. Parts 10 and 12 have never been here.

Just search: Udemy Music Theory Comprehensive
Without faith nothing is possible. With it, nothing is impossible.

I didn't like the way he organizes the stuff, the stripped-down way of talking, the time he loses in some things, and the confusions he makes with a whole stuff that was conceived "throughout a large time" by several men at various different times until centuries achieving the XX century, to the empirical process that is harmony today and there are half a dozen idiots who try will change or confuse all that.

It is absurd for this person who loves the term 'chromatic' that believe that the simple passage from 'bVI to p V' can come within a configuration of chromatic harmony, NOOOO!
Mixing Neapolitan and Augmented 6th chords and confusing it within chromatic harmony is very stupid.
