Skillshare Creating a Kontakt Instrument From Scratch TUTORiAL screenshot
FANTASTiC | 24 February 2019 | 465 MB
In this course we will be creating an entire little Kontakt sample library from scratch. The first thing we will be doing, is to create sound content. Then we will hop into Photoshop to create a basic Kontakt user interface. After that we will be making use of the Kontakt GUI Maker to implement and finalize our little Kontakt sample library!

Project Description

•Try to create a little drone as I did in the section of designing some sound content
•Then come up with a little interface design in Photoshop (or whatever you prefer to use)
•Bring it all together in the Kontakt GUI Designer
•Map your designed sound content into your final instrument

because thats what we need... even more people taking sounds from other vsts and putting them into kontakt to try and make a quick buck... great...

I hope that doesn't happen! Has it ever been found to have happened?

Anyway, isn't creating one's own instruments what any sampler is about?
Been doing this since the early days of Kontakt.
The Clavichord is from the Late Middle Ages. It's not a Clavinet.

You don't necessarily need to use it that way.
You can use homemade samples, or layered synths with your own presets, drums etc...
There are a lot of way to create an instrument with your own sounds.
