In all the years of watching this stuff, I've learned that there are as many ways to mix and master a recording as their are people. IOW, there's a billion ways to sound like crap and a billion to sound great.
I mean, c'mon..the variables are mind boggling.... move a speaker 1.2 nanometers to the left for such and such frequency. You'll be in the loony bin before ya know it, lol
