I'd say of course from a master like Chris Lord Alge , even though I have not watched it.

I personally don't think it's worth watching. While his advice on consolidating tracks that blend into each other so you don't have 5 separate tracks that are basically the same is good, the actual thought process behind his decisions isn't golden. His EQ'ing is far too aggressive for one thing and trying to replicate it on a track had collaborators asking me to dial things back and it made things much better. For as much as Steven particularly is hyping him and this whole series up (though he cuts him off a bit too much in his excitement imo), he's just going with what he's into and the kind of sound he wants to make. It's not something that's masterful or you absolutely have to get. Mixers are better off using their own ears and experimenting and refining what they like to hear instead of treating CLA or any one mixer as a golden standard when that's just not the case

The guy lives, breathes and eats advertising. He makes some good plugs but he's all about the hype.
