I always down these boring videos of Udemy and I'm always disappoint.
I figure myself as a student who is trying to compose looking at Udemy courses, but honestly ... I do not understand anything.

The Lang Lang´s aunt again, has invited a man who has the worst accent, they talk too much for nothing, a lot of fallacy for a little practice.

If you want to understand the basic concepts on composition and orchetration in a shot, just get "Richard Strauss´s "Also Sprach Zarathustra" for piano transcription, you´ll understand that there ´s a basic rhythm called 'Motif' that will conduct the melody, all this on a base harmony in C major that do a 'modal loan' to C minor, all notes rests on the fundamental, 3rd or 5th note of the chord.

The orchestration gives the contrast variations in timbre for the entire work, what many books mistakenly call, "Orchestration Colours".

The music must tell a history, 4 measures with the same subject bore the ear, sometimes you listen to a dialogue between two instruments, here the Trumpet talk to the orchestra, they go from chord I to chord IV and end with the old acquaintance IV, V, I.

This is the most easiest composition to analyse and understand composition, really really simple. But an explosive Idéa.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Listen to an another example of a literally talking between the Cello and the Harmonica, when after a short intro, the cello begins to whine, he is very sad and disappointed, holing a wine glass, in a dark closed room in the middle of cold winter, when enter his Harmonica friend, who begins to animate him, each phrase the Cello says, leave me alone, then the harmonica begins to speak of the good things of life and happy future still lies ahead, when at the end of this short dialogue, the Cello answers in ascending melody, Ahh! I you are right!
Hence the story seems to be told by someone else, the violin and the orchestra using the exactly same melody you have in your short memory, then the Cello more excited surrenders to reality. And the song ends without the old 'fade out', but with the tension of a 'minor seventh' almost imperceptibly, as if to say, life goes on ...
