The AB Guide to Music Theory Vol 1 - Eric Taylor screenshot
The AB Guide To Music Theory is intended to help people learning music to understand how music is written down, what the various signs and symbols denote, and what is meant by the common technical words used by musicians. Arising out of this, it provides an introduction to the basic elements in harmony and musical structure.

It's the first book i see 'AB' guide. It's common to see 'ABC' , 'AZ' , 'Bible of...' , ...bible, or '...System'

Good tips inside, like this one which only denotes intention:
"Tchaikovsky marked a bassoon solo pppppp in the first movement of his 6th Symphony, he certainly ensure that the player would not miss the fact that the passage was to be played very soft indeed,"
