Very interisting. Good to remember is that one of the most "popular" concertos for guitar, was writter by a blind pianist who never played any guitar:

The Spanish 'Joaquín Rodrigo' and his 'Concierto de Aranjuez'.
Rodrigo died recently in '1999' and the entire world didn't know that.

The brazilian 'Villa-Lobos' who learned to play guitar on the streets and composed the ones of the more difficult pieces for this instrument.
