Not true. Look again. ;)

I have another problem; downloads don't work. It seems like they're still uploading it or something. We should wait for a while.

You're right, but I bet that Hydolol, it's already making that.... even if everyone can do that.

i've watched about Bitwig last night on Youtube (Sadowick account), they copied Ableton 90% and 10% Logic X. Somebody said the team worked in Ableton.

They are the original Developers behind Ableton....

That's why I know that Bitwig will be better ;)

Also Turbo says that it's a combo between Ableton and Logic X, but i kinda see it like 60% Ableton, 30% Cubase(midi expressions, transport buttons & editing tools, etc.) 8 Procent Logic X and 2% Studio One ("bounce in place" feature seems similar to "track transform" in Studio One).
Anyway, it looks A LOT better than Ableton... (i hated About Ableton even the tracks panels in the right though)

Bare in mind that bounce in place is feature introduced in Logic 9, 2 years before it came to S1 v2 and editing tools and many others are part of many DAW's including Logic, also what is Bitwig now was S1 when it came out, huge percentage of Cubase and good amount of Logic with his own things, same as Bitwig is now with huge percentage of Live.

But I like it more than Live, never liked Live, track panels on right was thing that freaked me out the most, I mean, it's not something you can digest after them being on left become your second nature.

I think this appeals to folks who never liked Live and now want something to expand their horizons, than actual Live users that are just waiting to see that they are not in danger and now can continue to use Live knowing that's the right thing after all, but I guess there will be bigger amount of Live refugees, we will see, expect many tutorials down the line and shit load of You Tube community videos to start making this more&more attractive, that's how Live got brake, because of community, people just got involved in making tutorials and spreading the word when they didn't even being asked, it made perfectly clear that it's more than covered in very aspect, just like next guy would rather use Sylenth instead of Spire because there is more resources and coverage

Agree on everything, except from the fact that Live can't turn into shite just because one thinks "track panels must be on the right". Actually, being right handed, I've always felt that right-hand menus and left-hand content was more natural and at reach for me. That is, this site is _wrong_! =D

Once you get familiar to its Logic (lol - man, did I bang my head on it trying to avoid tutorials before I did!), Live still has some simplicity twist all other DAWs cannot deliver.
But yet again, it's balbalbal: just take a night with and choose you shooter. It's (more or less) all about taste.

Exactly, I like to use driving in UK/outside UK analogy for this or even worse driving imported car for wrong market, you can't unlearn something that is your second nature right away or even sacrifice some workflow solutions over others, preferences, tastes and all that, on that note this thing is not that bad, they took some things that I didn't liked and improved, time will tell

What! How do you know?! Did you try it? If so, what didn't you like about it. It looks fantastic, it's what Ableton should've been..

As I see it it´s just another sequenser ... if it bring something really new it´s great, if it just offer something already on the market, its without any interest!

How these guys have cloned this sequenser from other developers I have no insight in, but the basic stuff MUST look pretty much what we already know of!

Tested the demo today and it looks/works ok - still a demo! Only thing that really impress me it the fact they have a version for Linux, wich isnt often seen ..... when will other major developers do the same?
You can't have everything; where would you put it?

I tried Bitwig for an hour and than opened Ableton. Ableton looked pretty boring and clean compared to Bitwig after that. But I have used Ableton for a long time now, my workflow with shortcuts is so quick and I already missed this a lot in Bitwig. Alone the feature that you can not crop a sample as quickly as in Ableton drove me crazy :).
Many people complain about Ableton, but I still work extremely fast with it. I will give Bitwig a chance of course, maybe I will work with it even faster. But to be honest to me the programm is not a revolution. It is for sure a great new DAW, but not a completely new way of music making like they call it.

All DAW makers say their product is "the new way of making music"!
So far, only Ableton's got close to the saying...

On topic: I think this mag shouldn't show on the main page
