no offense rzl... just opining...

i could never fuckn stand sublime for some reason... it turned into a band that highschool kids automatically start listening to once they start smoking bud... kinda like Marley... very rarely though, some of these highschool kids actually progress into having a unique thought on their own, and then actually listen to something that they REALLY, truthfully like. You know... opposed to just fukng mimicking the twats that surround them (whom of which, the moment they "grow up" , and no longer blaze, they interestingly no longer listen to sublime and marley)... basically the exact same phenomena as the fake electronic music listener /ravers... once they "grow up", and stop eating ecstasy, they no longer "listen" to electronic music.

I know where you're coming from, we call those people posers. However I listened to Sublime when I smoked bud and I still listen to them to this day: Doin Time (Uptown Dub) and Badfish and Marley too: Natural Mystic. Also it's okay to listen to something that suits a certain time in your life. Sometimes we have musical phases to suit them.

i knew it was a "roll of the dice" to see how you'd react... and thats totally legit.

I mean, sublimes meshing of different styles works very well... and i ve always dug the punk rock sound (from my days of : Black Flag, The Fear, "Op Ivy"... (which is technically ska), Down By Law, Propaghandi, Dayglo Abortions, Lagwagon (& everyhng Fat Wreck Chords really) Peter and the Testube Babies, and infinite others), not to mention the implementation of Dub (of which reminds me o' the days of King Tubby, Lee Scratch Perry, and the like); but I think my direct perception is solely based on the people I personally knew that listened to them... and I must admit, I spent plenty of nights partyin' and playin fuckn spades all night with this specific "crew", which goes to say that I enjoyed their company at times... looking back though, I think many were a bunch of douche bags that mainly wanted to get drunk and fight people... which is sooooooo not me man... a lot of macho, football headed bullshit really... so.. shouldve taken that into account before "spoutin", but i took a chance anyway.

as for wadegsn, not sure what you r sayin exactly... probably not native language i assume... its cool though... I've no ill-will towards you guys for disagreeing or whatever. we all live unique experiences

Are you experimenting on me dim_triad, I told you about that.

Yeah I know what you mean, the douchebag brigade. I hate knuckle-draggers like that. Dealt with a lot of those types when I was much younger. Not so much later on, people knew better than that.
