You mean to say that the original uploader has actually purchased every thing they uploaded themselves? Good lord, some of the more prolific ones must have, and will, spend tens of thousands on product. Do they make that money all back plus a profit by having people d/l from only their links?
I'm only being partially sarcastic as I don't really know the cost/benefit ratios on all this.
My personal opinion is that its all a wash really. People are free to upload and people should be free to supply mirrors and if the so called 'philanthropists' stop uploading either the 'freeloaders' or someone else may or may not take their place.... and if every bit of pirated material dried up tomorrow, who cares really. It would get the internet monkey off our backs cold turkey which will give us more time to go outside and play.

ps. uploading can be quite a bore and a drag believe it or not!and sometimes it is annoying after all that process seeing some people stuck instantly on the posts like leeches i mean it is like in the first few minutes maybe even seconds voila there they are,all the time,i suppose it would be a bit less annoying if they tried harder to upload their own posts of stuff they had or found around but hey i am not complaining there is a reason for everyone and everything existing in life but gotta give my 2 cents.My opinion is music,among other things in life,should be freely circulated especially for have-nots and much more educative things but hey common it doesn't mean we have to act like horny dogs about getting it.

That'd be a great idea. Perhaps institute some kind of waiting period before mirrors are allowed. A few days or when posts drop to the 3rd page or something like that
