It's great book, a goldie ! I am just a bit confused with the way he explained how compressors work (after certain treshold is reached, THE WHOLE signal is attenuated by the ratio, not just the part which exceeds that treshold - as it appears on his diagrams !(?) I will read it again, maybe I have misinterpreted something he wrote. All other things are very worthy pile of mixing knowledge and even after more than 10 years in this business, I could learn a few new things or refresh some forgotten but usable tricks. Must have book, that's for sure for anyone who's into mixing/mastering - it's useful even for the compositors, as I sometimes get so overcrowded and... bad compositions to work with...
