Oh My! Many people I know who do not compose with good ears. and it is good to remember that Beethoven was never deaf, got his hearing problems after 31 years, that was gradually until totally deaf, when he composed his 9th symphony and have sketches for his 10th. Remember that he had already written his most important works before his total deaf.

Of course, some damn beasts with simplist general culture and also suspect poor biographers, love to say that Beethoven was a deaf composer.

Lay and idiots who think that everyone should listen to their trash high volume music in the car or at home, lose almost 75% of their hearing until 60 years, but if they also consume alcohol and tobaccos, can get completely deaf before the 70s, as Beethoven that died with liver cirrhosis.

A dentist loses 25% of their hearing capacity after 60 years.

A bus driver who drives with front engine, loses 40% at 60 years.

Musicians who daily use headphones at full volume lose 65% before 50 years.
