In just 58 pages, the book attempts to encapsulate what ideally should be learned gradually over at least a year. This timeframe is sufficient for foundational understanding of music, although it excludes the rigorous ear training, which typically requires a minimum of three years and, for some, may take a lifetime to master. Additionally, rhythmic training is an essential practice that necessitates daily commitment for two to three years. Lastly, writing musical notes on a score—a skill that combines listening and notation—proves to be nearly impossible for many musicians; I believe that fewer than 15% can excel at it, not even AI has yet to managed to write sheet music, let alone jazz solos.

I'm sure many musicians have gone 20 years without even knowing what fermata or rubato even is. That was me for the longest time.

Outside of an actual degree in music, any source of structured guidance is still valuable to someone motivated enough.

I don't think there's anything wrong with "easy to learn, hard to master" material like this. Unless they advertise you will become a master instantly upon finishing the book . Once the foundational seeds are sowed, the patterns begin to form, and achievable goals start to become clearer.

But I haven't read this book, who knows if it's better or worse than the hundreds of other "music theory" books. Still worth a look. and THX to the uploader :)

But eh, I would suggest looking for other books for those who are serious. This seems to be part of a Kindle Mill.
