Hi guys, running on mac 10.13.6 High Sierra here and ableton 9, I did eveything that was said here in the 4 pages of comments, never were able to open nor standalone or in ableton.

1) I tried R2R's orginial method, didn't work even with sudo thing on vst and component.
2) Then tried the method with RC-20 retro color, got this little plug in effect to be startable in ableton but even with righ computerid, keygen etc, found no way to start it without getting the message "no license found"

For both methods, I tried step by step to start the standalone and in ableton , then sudo thing on component and vst, then batChmod on the app ticking every boxes but ACLs.... always got the same results:

- launching the Standalone XO: message: "unable (in my language) to open the application "XO""
- launching XO in ableton: I get two error pop ups then crash:

Also, during the process I have to create every folder "XLN Audio", "XLN Online Installer/app/licenses" etc, may be there is some kind of right to write my mac refuses to XO?

Did you do the codesign with terminal and the sudo command? Can you past me here the sudo command you used?
Only for component or also for the vst file?

Could you please just list what steps you took to make it work?

I'm on High Sierra.
So I dt exactly remember all the steps sorry but basically I realised in ableton live It worked only in the Audio units, or only in VST (forgot which one), but like in ableton try to open it from every possible folder, one should work.

The scan errors went away for me when i made smaller sections to scan.
I took a "Genre" Sample folder that got errors on scan and made A-Z Folders and then scanned those folders.
After that the scan finished with no errors.
I get the same behavior in loopcloud with its scans that never finish otherwise.
