on Mac: when you move the vst files into a different directory (other than plug-ins/vst) there's a "wrong binary location" error. Anyone know how to fix this? For windows you can fix this by editing the config.txt file which would be in Application Support/XLN Audio/XLN Online Installer/App but there's no config file on Mac

I also noticed this as well. My only guess would be is to install a demo version and then replace it with the patched version but I won't be a test monkey to try this.

AU not showing up in Logic 10.4.7 running Mojave.
But it is working fine in Ableton.

Same here. In Logic 10.4.7 running Mojave doesn't work. But in Studio One 4.5.3 it is working fine. "sudo codesign -f -s - /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/XO.component" doesn't work. I receive the following message: "error: The specified could not be found in the keychain"

Hi! What do you mean "before adding component XO"?

Do you perform the sudo command on the file and then only put it in the component folder?

Also no sure where you mean the space should be in the command.

Yeah, for some reason on windows 7 the keygen was grabbing the legacy computer ID and XO would say no license found. BUt if you follow R2R's directions and open the log file there is a non legacy computer id there as well and when you copy and paste that one into the keygen and register it finally works.

Some of you have a sync problem with Ableton Live and XO VST? Sometimes XO stop playing for 1sec then restart... Really annoying...

If you are on Mac, try using the Audio Unit version after code sign :) works perfectly for me in Logic X:

sudo codesign -fs - "/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/XO.component" --deep

OK. I'm testing the trial version right now and the sequencer of XO is perfectly SYNC with Ableton Live 9 (Win10).
SO, that R2R version is buggy... Sadly!

When I save a project with Xo in it as VST and reopen the project, then it says license not found. Anybody who experienced the same and perhaps knows how to solve it?

On windows, search computerid in XO Logs, go to computer/system/user/(profil user)/my document/XO Logs
Copy computerid to generate the keygen (don't press "get") just press generate.

After following instructions from the release and from this thread, I am still unable to obtain my computer ID as the app itself can not be opened even after using batchmod.

Could anyone try to guide me to overcome this issue?
I am on OSX

On macOS: Navigate to ~/Library/Logs/XO Logs and open any of the .txt files. Easiest way is to copy "~/Library/Logs/XO Logs" open Finder, press Shift+Cmd+G, and paste the path.

My problem is, that there are no logs created by XO simply because I can not run the application. It say that the application can not be opened.

I am on 10.14

also why is the file you shared 1 GB while the whole release here is half the size?
