what is the dmg installer for mac ,, thanks

R2R in the MF HOUSE!

shame I can't get it to work....hope VR takes a stab at it. Not because R2R did a bad job but maybe VR can provide a different install method.

Sorry the OSX installing is confusing me :-(
It says "Burn or mount the ISO.
Copy Library folder to :
/Library/Application Support/XLN Audio/"
Wich folder there are 2 Folders one called App one called sound data...... Maybe someone can give me a helping hand ??! TY

i get : "Sorry! A serious error occurred, try running the XLN Online Installer again. If this does not fix the problem, contact support.

Error information:

createPluginFilter exception: Could not find BusLayout specification file!"

For those of you having issues getting this to work on Mac, I have revised the instructions a bit to help you. I used the steps below to install and test on 10.14.6. I can not attest to it working in previous versions of MacOS. Please see below....read carefully, and good luck. AS always, big thanks to R2R!

[MacOSX]
00. Uninstall previous versions.
01. Mount the ISO.
02. Copy the Library folder "XO" to : /Library/Application Support/XLN Audio/
03. Copy the app to: Applications/XLN Audio
04. Copy the plugins to their respective locations (VST + Components) Do not deviate.
05. Run Batchmod to repair the XO application file (all boxes checked except Clear ACLs)
06. Run and close the Stand Alone App one time. (This creates a log file)
07. Locate the log file in: (User DIR) ~/Library/Logs/XO Logs/
08. Open the latest log file and find "ComputerID", then copy its numbered text.
09. Run included keygen on Windows (or Mac if you know how).
10. Input ComputerID you copied from the log file in step 08 into keygen.
11. Click "Generate (OSX)" on keygen & save license in an easy to find place.
12. Move the generated license (LicensesOI.txt) to the location below.
/Library/Application Support/XLN Audio/XLN Online Installer/App/Licenses/


The steps above resulted in this working for me on 10.14.6 in Studio One v4 with both the VST and AU tested. The Stand Alone works as well.

Notes:
If you already have other XLN items installed then a "LicensesOI" file will already exist on your drive. Replace it with the newly generated LicenseOI file. Your other XLN items will still work, at least mine did.

Logic Users:
You must open Terminal and paste this code to get AU to pass validation:
sudo codesign -f -s - /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/XO.component
I do not use logic and can not attest to this working, so you are on your own there, sorry.
However, the AU does work in Studio One.

Bottom line to get this work you need to get rid any legacy craps or XLN installations.

Frustrated from trying to get to work speedily I

0 .After a normal cleaning of the obvious places, registry and system files I re-installed with Uninstaller Pro, that would trace all the hard to find files.

1, I then Uninstalled it again this time with Uninstaller pro.
this would dig deep tracing everything out clean, further, I went into the Uninstaller Pro Registry Edit option where you can search the registry for further traces at super high speed and it produces multiple options to delete instead of one out time, UN-like in reg edit be super thorough. I got rid of anything anywhere except where I stored the app.

2. I cleaned my system folders manually, I got rid of:
XO in my documents folder
C:\ProgramData\XLN Audio (Its an invisible folder, root C:}
Search everywhere for XO and XLN Folders
* Pro TIP
I use a app called "Search Everything", once loaded this thing is lightning fast to find any file or file type, invisible or not.

Before Installing Blocked the developer website via my host file.

3. Reinstalled following instruction to the letter again with Uninstaller pro. Now it and keys works perfectly.

All Im ultimately saying is if you can clean it out of your system properly this crack will work like a fresh installation, it will load super fast ( just tested with its own database of drums not my own)

Really could use help on install.
I've read others comments, even on other sites. Tried everything.
Batchmod, SIP Disable etc etc and the application will not open.

Prff i created 5 o 6 folders for scan with at least 20 gb and this guy randomize without clicks. It's amazing. I created too a folder with vocals and stomps and fx and...it's total crazy random samples and sequences

As sombebody who still uses hardware samplers for my drums. I gotta say I'm rather impressed with XO. I can put together a kit and pattern that sounds really good faster than it takes for me to format a zip disk.

Any Mac users having trouble getting these to work and it's your first time installing Xln stuff, you will need to create these folders to get it to work properly. Then follow directions directed on the txt.

/Library/Application Support/XLN Audio/XLN Online Installer/App/Licenses/

Also all you need to do is generate 1 license for all XLN releases as the license authorizes all plugs.

Was having a hard time to install this on mac with el capitan maybe caused by some old XLN plugs, anyway leaving this info here for who might need it. Followed all steps already mentioned but XO was still asking for license, to make it work deleted all logs left by XO and opened the app to create new log and re entered the computer id on keygen then replaced the txt license file and boom, working!

Hey, I get this error on mac when try to open standalone app :Sorry! A serious error occurred, try running the XLN Online Installer again. If this does not fix the problem, contact support.
