The SSL Native Channel Strip 2 Plug-in delivers the legendary tone, features and workflow of an SSL 9000K console channel strip, now featuring SSL's proprietary 'Anti-Cramping' technology and external Side Chain input.

The EQ section is a classic 4-band design with parametric LMF & HMF and shelving LF & HF sections (LF & HF switch to Bell). The whole EQ can be switched between E & G Series characteristics and can be applied to the dynamics side chain.

The Dynamics section offers separate Compressor and Gate/Expander. The Compressor can be switched between soft and hard knee. Both the Compressor and Gate/Expander sections feature fast/slow attack switches and independent side chains. The plug-in also features High and Low Pass Filters which can also be applied to the side chain. Perfect for smoothing, controlling and adding presence to any source material.

Channel working good on win 10, downloaded 360, works well for a while, then solo function doen´t work anymore.

Reaper, Win 10.

VST3 Stops working after a while. Audio goes thru but the plugin is inactive (the metering section is also off).

The VST2 works fine but doesn't show the track name\number instead, showing "000".

Just reporting.

I started a fake session to test the plugin. The first couple of minutes everything seemed to work, then opening an instance I noticed it. The weird thing is that deleting the fx and reopening on the same track sometimes fixes the issue, sometimes not. I need to do further testing.

Shame, while plugin can run on Windows 7 and is officially supported, SSL 360 is not.
Is there any logic in developers minds or what is going on there?

BTW , does anyone know why SSL 360 doesn't operate how it should in Cubase 10.5 k'ed version?
SOLO button doesn't works, and feels like some LAG in the integration with it, or I am just unlucky...
In FL Studio all works fine, every single command from SSL 360 is recognized.

ssl 360 vst3 studio one 53, w10 all run fine and smooth.

note....
if you want solo a track, yo need to put sslchannel in each bus (example snare and drum bus) and solo the buses too.

I have a question though:
Aren't emulations of analog gear supposed to impair a certain sound on the material being passed through?
I did a null-test with this plugin and there is no saturation occuring even when driven somewhat hard.
Maybe I'm misunderstanding this and SSL hardware is super clean..

This one has zero saturation on purpose. If you want saturation use PA SSL plugins.
Come here just to try the software and buy it afterwards.
If I don't like the software I will just DELETE it.

It was clean, more cleaner... and a huge step even more with the 9000 J.

For those having problems with solo buttons working properly. Start DAW, insert channel strip plugins on inserts, then start SSL 360. It will say something about old plugins, just ignore and click on plugin mixer.

Really like the layout of this. Seriously debating the UC1 now.

i think this is theway for harrison mixbus, forget daw and make 2 or 3 plugins to make a new console with mixbus feeling in any daw.
i will like ssl implement a -only volume vst3- to put in all channels without eq o dinamics and very low ram.... for sends, or small tracks...

Bought it last year and got the free update to version 2. Kinda lame that the uncracked version requires more RAM. But since I doubt there will ever be a cracked version for macOS, it's ok. Great Channelstrip und in addition with the 360 App pretty incredible.
