Many producers and synthesizer enthusiasts asked for a full-blown Waldorf Synthesizer for their virtual rack. We listened, and now we proudly present Largo. Largo is the first pure software synthesizer with Waldorf DNA. And again – it is the cutting edge sound that makes the big difference.

Largo offers three fat oscillators, two of them with sub oscillators. These oscillators include models of classic analog waveforms as well as a selection of waves from the PPG and Waldorf Wave stored in two Wavetables. All these run through two Waldorf multimode filters with steep cutoff, resonance up to self-oscillation and a drive stage to add even more punch and grainyness to the sound. Ultra-fast envelope generators and flexible LFOs as well as an easy to understand, yet extremely versatile modulation matrix make for a sound designer's dream.

The filters have always been a core part of any Waldorf instrument. With outstanding expertise in both analog and digital synthesis, our developers took utmost care in developing the filters. And you can hear a significant difference when working with a Waldorf filter - they just sound right! Use the comb filters for plucked, stringed or blown sounds. Band pass, high pass, low pass and notch filters are all available with 12 dB and 24 dB slope. All of them sound extremely accurate and add pure sonic quality to the sound of your music.

Largo contains a flexible arpeggiator with 16 freely programmable steps as known from the exclusive Q synthesizer line plus an array of high quality effects such as Chorus, Flanger, Phaser, Overdrive, Delay and Reverb.

Working fine here on mac 64bit .had the licence ( crack)from the 32bit. so no need to redo.
i always use a second dongle for cracks as it could mess up your legal licences.

Installed only the x64 version, but cancelled license manager instal.

Crash in Samplitude, Sonar X3, Reaper. Win7 x86 32 .dll. If I close synsopsos, nothing happens. Or simply the DAW can' see this synth.

This synth always sounded a bit shiney and metallic to me -- and weak.

Maybe it was the poor presets but I've never been impressed by the filters....

About GUI bugs and more, they are legit...too bad.
So it is NOT a crack trouble.

Confirmed by reading KVR. A supposed "beta" is coming...
Frankly, they suck software wise 4 years for an x64 crap like this...

it only happens here but not just that ...anyway, criminals as you say we are, we do own legit stuff as well and personally i buy what i really use and try new things just to play around and i believe i can say this not only for me ...in your case Largo, isnt my coup of tea, as Tone2 software it has that awful distinctive sound that i not fan of and between us i prefer V-Station instead, so you're lucky -1 criminal ...have a nice day sir

A lot of us do just that. I own quite a number of plug-ins and all of them were bought because I was able to demo a product that worked around my demoing needs and without malware or usb ports that had to be taken up for some draconion copy protection system. I won't even get into the number of companies I wouldn't have known about otherwise.

You are probably going to say piracy is killing your business.
The same bullsh*t argument with no sense.

Waves plugs are all cracked. Lennar makes only ONE plug : Sylenth. And it is the most over-cracked plug ever. Small company like U-He : same.Native Instruments ? All cracked. Almost all DAWs, too. And more and more...

I remember the total MESS with Komplexer (one of the most amazing synth ever to me). And it was NOT piracy related : just bad business.

Now you have only ONE choice : solve those obvious bugs.

Calling ppl "criminals" and whining about piracy will do nothing good to your business.
I don't even speak about treating your legit customers like...nothing, in fact. You just don't care.

Like Arturia making a batch of badly programmed crashing crap...and making another to cover the previous one. V1 sucks ? Buy V2 !

Sure, there are a lot of complaints for something these guys are getting for free, but those who have something negative to say are always the loudest.

I've checked out your software support forums and definitely, they are quite empty. I don't know if it's due to not having many customers or whether the existing customer base has gotten used to bugs mentioned in the previous comments, but something can definitely done to help you guys iron out the bugs.

Previous comments hint at a situation of fading interest in your products, with so many other plug-ins on the market getting so much more fame and recognition, whether they deserve it or not. What has been said here can be taken as advice; add better factory presets to the synth, produce new audio and video demos, more frequent updates (recruiting beta testers can help with that by finding bugs more frequently, thus you can put out more updates to fix them), etc.

First impression in the business is, as you surely know it, very important. You need to spark interest in your products again, because they deserve it.

Apart from those who have a false sense of entitlement that they believe justifies they should get everything for free, a lot of us buy the stuff we use very often, like Spectrasonics Omnisphere, which is still part of my sonic palette. Newcomers aside, we've all seen variations of the motto "try before buy" and mostly go by it, when we love the product.

I'd like to discuss this further with you, if you don't mind :)

Mr Waldorf, piracy was and is long term free publicity on the interned regarding any product you can find on the net, if im not wrong there was developers that they offered full license for free for pirates just to get some attention ...i tell you that maybe not everyone here will buy your software, some cant afford, some dont simply like it and some dont want ...in any case you cant do anything but remember that those who cant afford it and dont like it have reasons and in a market so vast with new working\cheaper products those will spot other opportunities and go for it wile you remain behind ...in two words like these fellas say it to you here, you cant create a software then leave it there as it is with bugs and so many problems updating it every 4 years and bash into pirates places accusing them that they are criminals ...the way i see it is the other way around, you leaved your customers for all these years with a bugged soft ...now dont get me wrong, but if the bell still dont ring for you in all im saying then dont come back here next time ...you should wake up, we're in 2014 ...not every pirated copy can be a sold copy ...

PS. for the next update i suggest you to addopt/invest into ilok2 copy protection, i assure you that we will talk again after 8 years

About Tone2, they made an enormous error too : they included malware in their Gladiator protection (i know...i triggered it ).
When the trouble raised, it was a LEGIT user who moved the dll without moving the licence key. It resulted in an administrative alert (XP) closing down computer in 10 seconds.
They needed to CLOSE their KVR forum, and open one ONLY for their customers.
You can't read it without buying a product first.
It was NOT due to a pirated version....but AiR found it was on purpose and revealed it to the public

That's what i call bad business, not piracy. Like not solving obvious bugs, waiting 4 years to release a non-working x64 version...and calling potential customers "criminals"

i fixed it on fl studio 11 by installing all the 64 and 32 versions then run keygen , windows 8.1 64
