Celemony Melodyne Editor v2.1.2.2 (WiN and OSX) screenshot
R2R | 25.3.2014 | WiN 84.5 MB | OSX 25.76 MB
Melodyne is a software application for OS X or Windows with which you can edit audio in a more musical way than was ever thought possible. In Melodyne, you work with notes – and not with a meaningless wave form. You don’t just see where the music gets louder or quieter but also where notes begin and end and at what pitch they lie.

You can modify each note and thereby influence directly the intonation, phrasing and dynamics – and do this not only with vocals and monophonic instruments but with polyphonic instruments such as pianos and guitars as well.

Working with Melodyne is like being able to say to a vocalist “sing this note a bit longer” or to a pianist “give slightly less weight to the third in this chord” – hours, weeks, even years after the recording session.

Problems with Cubase 6.5. and Win7 64bit. Suddenly stops running.

It is not working properly for me even though I used permission reset. Everything works fine exept the Timing macro which alters the values correctly but it does not keep the values, it always returns to 0 when Ok is pressed, so changes are lost.
The legitimate version keeps the values so that you can alter them at a later moment just like the Pitch Macro.

Unfortunately, this is Melodyne Singletrack only, so you can't do any of that neat multi-track harmony stuff in it. But it's still pretty useful. Anyone know of a full version that's available?

just use your brain a bit and voilla! you can duplicate or triplicate tracks to make harmonies....

Hi everyone - would really like some helpful input. I have the Presonus Studio One 2.6.2, which I also used the earlier "FULL" version to get all the goodies (2 goodies fail to load but installed fine - anyone found that problem and a fix?), using Win7 x64.

I really want this app to help with vocals, instruments etc on production and mixing. However, I see the Editor has a lot of reduced ability while the Studio version has plenty of nice features, but loses some of the Editor features (when the homesite states the Editor is a part of Studio ???). Studio also cannot utilise x64, while Editor can.

So of the people here using Editor and those using Studio, what have you found to be the advantages and disadvantages of each one please?

I can't decide which is the best and feel if I install the 'wrong version', I won't be able to uninstall and reinstall the other (without a lot of trouble)

Thanks

Thanks VERY much for this!

I had bought a Studio One PRO license from another person, and the melodyne version that comes bundled with it was registered in the name of the previous user. I contacted celemony and they basically told me to fuck off and If I wanted to use melodyne with my S1 copy I would have to buy the license.

Now THEY CAN SUCK IT!! I have the editor version for free, working perfectly with Studio One PRO!!

Thanks a lot guys

Is it working in Pro Tools 10?

I can't make it work here.

Thanks

I can't say for this or Pro Tools, I got the full version, installed and Studio One Pro 2 is recognising it :)

When you look at the sites 'compare', no reason to get the Editor, IMHO

Thanks for the share funtime, works great!
However, does anyone else have an issue with the standalone application crashing when trying to open large-ish files (say 100Mb)? This is on Max OS X 10.6.8 btw.

EDIT: Also now I noticed it doesn't work on OS X 10.9.3 for me. Used Permissions Reset to set all to Read, Write & Execute and the standalone app still just bounces in the dock.

It's not properly cracked.
Still trying to contact Celemony server.
Be sure to block it in your firewall.
