The strange thing about all this is how so many seems to know what i need to make music. Cant we all just agree that we all have diffrent needs, likes and workflow and for the same reasons use or prefer diffrent DAWs. I love things in studio one, feel lost and in others, but have used and worked in cubase since Steinberg put the first version out there. 7.5 is great for me since i feel at home and know its workflow. Sure there are things that i would love to see in it like a couple of things from studio one (easy file briwsing, drag n drop) but at this point there are so many advantages in cubase that i will stay with it. Okej, running a legit copy of any of the DAWs on the market is just another thing that makes music more fun since i dont see the need or wasting my time posting thinngs on what is better than the other. There aint no right or wrong since i belive its just a matter of taste.. and for this release.. its a god way of getting a few bonus dl.. have a great weekend guys..

Fair argument Vaijj, but.........

The step from Cubase7 to Studio One isnt that big really. Reason: The team who build/created Studio One are infact are the very same guys that build/created Steinberg Nuendo - wich workwise is exactly the same as Cubase!

So if you´re good with Cubase you´ll be exactly as good with Studio One, because the whole setup is almost the same!

I have bought both, so I speak out of experience!

I´ll not tell you what daw you should fancy - I was just giving you and others a service announcement .... thats all

iLok took around 7 years to crack. It's not about whether it's possible (everything is) it's about whether it's viable. Not many would like to make such an investment in time for notoriety.
