Hey man,

Perhaps you can help me out. I'm a Windows 10 and [legit] Cubase Pro 10.5.12 (Build 123) user (running everything x64/64-bit. As I've mentioned, I'm running a legitimate Cubase alongside many K'd and purchased plug-ins (across both e-Licenser & iLok2 formats). I've read somewhere that this does not yet work with Cubase Pro 10.5 but will work with Cubase Pro 10. As I have both Pro 10 & Pro 10.5 installed on my laptop simultaneously, will it still work if I used it with Pro 10 (instead of Pro 10.5, until a fix becomes available)? Also, I'm reading something on hear regarding the "blacklisting" of certain sites -- do you know if Steinberg is among one of those? I would (of course) like to be able to update Cubase Pro in the future when [important] ones become available.

Lastly, if you'd be so kind to explain -- what exactly do I need to prepare for this installation? U don't have anti-virus software on my computer since I very rarely am connected to the internet when I use my laptop (in fact, I download most plug-ins on another computer and migrate them to a USB thumb-drive in order to install them on my music production rig). Assuming I was to go-ahead and install this thing -- do I need to make back-ups of any important/critical file(s)? I assume that creating a brand-new System Restore point isn't all that bad an idea, either.

So, what next? I execute the install, what happens after that, exactly?

Thanks so much in advance for all of your help and, I apologize for the length of this post -- I'd just like to make sure that I am doing everything properly.

If for whatever reason it does not install a soft-elicenser, it will not work.
If you have a real elicenser and registered software, it's up to you, but I probably would not recommend using it.

Also, if you have a real-elicenser, how would you go about performing legit maintenance tasks without blacklisting your computer on S-bergs site?

PS- bumping my earlier post too... what is the uninstall process for this?

Is there any way to deactivate or delete licenses? I would like to remove the licenses that I have legally . HALion e.g. cannot load or install HALion 3 sounds with the fakelizenser.

Thank You

It used to work just fine. And now, it doesn't... The soft activation (drive based) is nowhere to be found..
Only my legit e-licenser key appears...
