I'm not on Mac but found this on another place. Worth a try:

Open Terminal and use this command:
sudo codesign -f -s - /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/RC-20\ Retro\ Color.component/

I was getting the same error. Go to the Mac app store and download XCode. It something like 8gb. As soon as it was installed, I did the sudo codesign and it went right thru!

I did it and it replaced in terminal but when I loaded fl studio and refreshed plugin list and added RC-20 to mixer it still says no license found

Do it this way

Open Terminal and use this command:
sudo codesign -f -s -
then drag your plugins into the Terminal press enter then your password and press enter again

that should work it did for me

FINALLY GOT IT TO WORK! Thank You so much. I think it was me finding the computer ID that was messing me up, since I wasn't able to located that folder without finder. I ran the batch mod also.

thanks for this and for other users, certainly you do not have to delete previously existing XLN product folders in order for it to work...right? that would be off...

Wow. So I had the codesign issue, downloaded Xcode, didn't work. I had to click show package content and codesign the file inside of that. Now the plug-in got validated but it's saying "No GUIBoot found!" - any advice?

Also when the instructions say "Copy Library folder to :
/Library/Application Support/XLN Audio/"

Since there is no Library folder, does it mean all the content inside the ISO? Because there's an App folder, sound data etc.

Hey guys for anyone on Mac OSX that was unable to get it to work due to crashing your DAW, if you're in Ableton, make sure you didn't update to 10.1.2, as it has a lot of issues with many other legit software and crashing.

Going back to 10.1.1 I was able to get this to work no problems what so ever. Let me try and run through the exact steps I took and see if I can help a few of you confused with more clear directions.

1. Create XLN Audio Folder in your HD Application Support, not User Application Support
2. Drag the folder in the iso file into this new folder you made
3. Drag either the vst or component to your vst or component plugins folder
4. Open your DAW and open the plugin. Opening the plugin will create the log file. You can just close the plugin for now you don't need to close your DAW
5. Find the log file, it will be in User Library this time and not your HD Library. The location in the txt is correct.
6. Copy the ComputerID on the txt file
7. Open the keygen, if you don't have WIne you should really get Wine because it makes it super easy.
8. Paste your ComputerID in the Keygen and generate with OSX, I always copy to my desktop for easy finding.
9. The other unclear part of the directions, the file path it says you need to put this license file you need to create the folders of. So go to your XLN Audio folder in the Application Support of your HD Library. Inside you'll create the folder XLN Online Installer, inside that you'll create the folder App, inside that you'll create the folder Licenses, and this is where you paste the license
10. when you open the plugin again it should be working and good to go, and you can do this similar process for all the other XLN plugins on Audioz

Would like to point out that this version of the plugin is working fine on Live 10.1.2 at least for me. I'm running HCiSO's release of Ableton Live 10.1.2 (which was just uploaded on this site) and Mojave 10.14.6.

you can use the AUs on newer versions of live, but you may need to 
sudo codesign -f -s - /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/RC-20\ Retro\ Color.component

when I mount the iso I get folders that don't correspond to where I would generally put things, you are saying essentially dump everything in the folder in the .iso into said location correct?

Edit: think I understand now, just a little confusing even for long timer like myself... no biggie, will give it a shot... looks like a decent plugin.

Cant get it to work on Windows! When i try to load it into mixer it tells me it isnt properly installed or activated? Reinstalled twice, did everthing according to instructions. Im on windows pls help

FINALLY! I've been trying this for 3 days!. First the code sign didn't work. Then I got a GUI boot error. Then it kept saying I have 10 days left on my trial. And now it's finally working. If anybody else has this issue, just keep deleting everything and trying again. Also if you're on LOGIC, keep re-validating the plug-in.
