The Spirit of Analogue
DIVA - Dinosaur Impersonating Virtual Analogue Synthesizer

The oscillators, filters and envelopes closely model components found in some of the great monophonic and polyphonic synthesizers of yesteryear. Modules can be mixed and matched so you can build hybrids, but what sets DIVA apart is the sheer authenticity of the analogue sound. This comes at the cost of quite a high CPU-hit, but we think it was worth it: Diva is the first native software synth that applies methods from industrial circuit simulators (e.g. PSpice) in realtime. The behaviour of zero-delay-feedback filters when pushed to the limit clearly demonstrates the advantages of this groundbreaking approach.

Check out more than 1200 presets. If your computer can handle it, try them in "Divine" mode.

Diva now includes an excellent, comprehensive manual that's easy to understand – even if you're not a native English speaking synth geek. Towards the end of the manual is a selection of ear-opening sound design tricks. Click on the image and take a look inside:

Excuse me for my ignorance, but... what does a time bomb do on a PC, or just Diva won't work anymore?

TimeHirochima That there is a code inside the program makes it does not work At any moment
Logically I do not think that there is a code ... because the code must ultimately be compared between the two things inside the program And the comparison must be from abroad ?
To this day we have not seen this big bang
Advice me download and enjoy

Logically? You have people here telling you programmatically that they will bomb. Urs isn't stupid so let's stop acting like he is.

U-he synths record your usage of the plug - if you use it a lot, many instances etc. it will finally stop working (detuning, random notes, melting interface.)

That's why collector's think it would work - if you just fiddle around with it now and then, it seems ok, but if you make serious music with it you will be surprised...

NO, that's definitely wrong! I noticed the "back-to-demo-mode" having used some u-he's only 2 or 3 times in 4 months, so this cannot be the trigger! Maybe for the timebombs, I don't know, didn't see any here.

But I agree with you: "…collector's think it would work". People without enough experience nor knowledge should stop to spread non–cracked software.

As already explained on your posts + on other posts, U-he timebombs + reset to DEMO are triggered from inside the code. Not from www–calling!

here's how you can get it to work. for a long time I was using DIVA 1.3.1 and Zebra 2.7 (both from this site, using old DOA/raler serials). for a couple months it worked fine then all of a sudden DIVA and Zebra both bombed at the same time. they're both working again for me, here's what i did:
-download "RunAsDate.exe" and launch it
-set the application to run (your DAW)
-set the date/time to a date when it was working for it before it bombed (for me it's 9/1/2014 at midnight)
-uncheck "move the time forward..."
-check "Immediate Mode"
-then I use RunAsDate's option to create a desktop shortcut, that way whenever I use that shortcut to launch my DAW, it always launches at that date/time and always works

it really sucked when DIVA and Zebra bombed, i eat ramen noodles a couple times a day for meals so as you can probably guess, i'm way too broke to buy them. thank god they work again.

it works. start the DAW with run as date to year 2000 or change the systemtime to year 2000!
than registration with the raler and dada!!!!

quote by luckyartistI have not figured out how to set the software RunAsDate. If the date is moved back, why then do you say that should be moved forward? Question: But this then affects the whole computer?

actually the step you're referring to is to uncheck the "move time forward" option, i don't think it makes much of a difference but i uncheck it just to be safe. what it does is it'll run the app as whatever date you set it to but will use the actual time. i uncheck it so it uses the date and time i specify just to be safe.

it doesn't affect the whole computer, it only affects whatever app you tell it to launch. it has an "application to run" field where you browse to the .exe of whatever app you want it to use. in my case i use ableton, so i browse to ableton's main exe then per one of the steps i listed, i have the app create a shortcut on my desktop. that way i have an ableton icon on my desktop that actually is a shortcut to "runasdate" preconfigured to launch ableton with the date/time i initially specified. in other words, you just go through the steps i listed one time and that's it. anytime you launch ableton (or whatever your DAW is) through the shortcut that "runasdate" creates, it always launches the DAW with the date/time you specify. you can always use your regular/original DAW shortcut to use it regularly with its real date. but i've gotten into a habit of always using the "runasdate" shortcut i created, no reason not to. the shortcut it creates will have the DAWs regular icon too so it looks no different ;)

"runasdate" doesn't run constantly, it only runs when you launch it. basically all it does is launch whatever app you tell it to run and it feeds that app whatever date/time you tell it to use. so the app believes that date/time to be the correct system time.

when my DIVA and Zebra timebombed, i uninstalled them both, then reinstalled them both and used "runasdate" step-by-step according to my last post. they're still working with no problem as long as i always use "runasdate"

Serial doesn't work. Hopefully R2R will release a working Dive 1.3,1 version soon.

Serial will work if you do what cees12 says. Run your DAW with RunAsDate setting the date 1/1/2000. I just did this and it worked.

It's 1.3.1 if you install it.

When I need to use it, I change de date on my pc to 01/01/2014. Works perfectly!
I think could bother people doing that, but whilst waiting for another solution, that one is easy and simple to reverse.
Cheers, mates!
