Aint much of a Difference! you act like the full installer is 20gigs or some thing? Its only 900mb ! Big Deal, I personally prefer the full installer, and the files don't get installed all over your pc ! there just written to the hidden folder for protection of corruption on the Plugins! Thanks Hardlock but how about the 'pre-patched app' (included in all the precedent [k] releases) to replace the original installed one with before entering any serial/code ?
Is it now OK "just" generating a code with "this" R2R keygen ?

The App is only 65 megs ( with PDF manual Included)

The rest of the stuff are the included plugins ( 99% of people pass and use VST)
Themes and other stuff.

Like I said before all someone has to do it install the 8.06 version then goto C:/Program Files/
Rar up the Motu Folder and it will be around 30 megs ( with the PDF manuals) and down to 15 megs without the Manuals

Why are people wasting their time with 900 meg downloads?

If you already have the full pack installed all you need is a newer "Motu" Folder into your C:/Program Files/ HERE

Basically a 15 meg download !!!

That is all that is needed to update to the newer versions.

If someone does not start doing this then I will start doing it because 900 megs vs 15 megs is very annoying.

The problem with the full installer is that it puts it's folders all over the friken place and in places under users/account/application data/roaming blah blah blah a funked up installer.

You need to know windows pretty well to get to those buried and hidden folder Users/account/application data/ blah blah blah

I actually have a master installer that is all automatically setup with a batch and all you do is you drop your updated "Motu" Folder ( Like I mentione at the begining) into the folder with the batch.

then I run the batch which I made some options into to install some things or just the updated motu folder

yes I made a better installer then Motu using a menu coded batch with some simple text commands.

The update is 12 megs packed rar

Full working minimal pack is 65 megs rared.

Full Pack is 1.4 gigs.

I hope people start uploading only the updated C:\Program Files\MOTU Folder plus the keygen of course.

I now have made an auto batched install with a full menu so you can press 1 to enter and it will copy everything needed, then runs the keygen and while you generating and authorizing on the keygen a shortcut to the main program is put on your desktop
All automatic!!! about 65 megs all rared up.

I made another batch that I can choose either full pack with selectable options to install and it's all automated copy process to the right locations) or choose minimal pack install as seen in the screenshot.

My installer is 100 times better than Motu's.
In fact with my menu you could if you wanted only install a list of the plugins you wanted instead of the real installer installing everything.
