Korneff Audio Shure Level-Loc v1.0.0 Incl Patched and Keygen-R2R screenshot
Team R2R | 2025.01.23 | 34.6 MB
Tchad Blake is renowned for his creativity in the studio. He's worked with known hitmakers from Sheryl Crow and Peter Gabriel to noisy alt bands like Soul Coughing and the Black Keys.

Tchad discovered the Shure Level-Loc while working on Tom Waits' album Bone Machine. As Tchad puts it, "The Level-Loc changed my life." He's not made a record without it since.

Imagine what you can make with a Level-Loc?

What can you do with a Level-Loc?

Squash and mangle with compression for huge, punchy drums that jump out of the speakers.
Overdrive transformers for warm saturation to enhance low-end and give your mixes some boom!
Add a vintage glow to vocals and acoustic instruments.
Get ratty, lo-fi guitar and keyboard sounds.
Parallel process anything for a larger, analog sound
Add interest and quirky fun to anything. With a Level-Loc, there’s no such thing as lame.

If u're running Win 11 try the kg (always as Administrator) booting in safe mode.

This surely may result annoyin' for anybody suscribed to the thread..., probably I should be banned , Maybe I should have written just one post talking about all the details, but that's also tedious, so... Sometimes Win 11 security center wont allow files mods from non strictly digitally certified sources (even with the AV totally disabled), but in safe mode this feature can be bypassed.

Hey thanks for this fix. I ran the bat without blocking the host file and got a activation popup after 15 minutes. I can confirm after copying all the urls to the host file the problem is solved. 🙌

I should test which are REALLY the main & aux URLs triggered by the still unknown "phone" in this release. The surveillance can be easyly done through DnsQuerySniffer, but I have no time at all, that's why this so "brute force blockade" (the bunch of URLs). Your experience also shows the evidence of an unknown caller, far beyond that the hosts file cuts the wire...

By the way; have you installed the .aax too?

It's ok, just one time is ok

Remember to try running the kg in safe mode, if your machine runs Windows 11.

Apparently the .bat file trick does the job, I've been testing it for the last 24h and the plugin didn't lose activation until now... Thx
I'll keep you up to date

According to @Geniesass .VST3 blockade is not enough, but I've forgotten to mention that after any significant network mod both winsock & dns reset* are highly recommended. If not, a system restart will do it.

*= CMD as Admin;

NETSH WINSOCK RESET (Enter)

&

ipconfig /flushdns (Enter)

I don't know yet what will be my case , I'll see it still retain the activation, if not i will add those addresses to the host file as a final solution.

Wonder how this compares to the Soundtoys Devil-Loc and the Tone Empire Loc-Ness.
No doubt they also took apart the hardware, but this one is obviously an official, collaborative effort.

after trying everything AvenocturneO suggested it still doesn't work!
But thanks to him anyway

If it asks for license that has nothing really to do with your blocking setup per se. It's most likely a bad crack/patch job. When I see/hear about this kind of stuff happening I'll just pass on it until the the patch/crack is fixed. Of if not just pass on it altogether.

I would like to know how much time takes 'till is deactivated in the other's machines, here works from the first install attempt. How can I share some sort of evidence about?

Edit; can't achieve my screen recorder to take Reaper while playing some mess..., not enough knowledge about 🤦🏾‍♂

Use the WASAPI sound output instead of ASIO and in the screen recorder "what is playing" or similar.

I'm not familiarized at all about screen recording while messing with my guitars, I've touched everything & made many attempts but APowerSoft closes instantly after start. This doesn`t happens while recordind a web browser or anything else. Whatever, this release works. If a find any other really functional screen recorder I'll share some garbage. On top of that, I broke the ring finger on my left hand several months ago and it is still not fully functional, u'll hear 🤦🏾‍♂ 🤣

So the timebombing issue is not a blanket thing that all users are experiencing then?

If I ever have timebombs with apps it is because of a bad crack or patch. This being mainly due to not allowing any internet connection to any of the production boxen.

I'm seriously limited for now, but at least I forget all of that for a while building some gigs. Dunno what's really deactivating this release in other machines if the proper steps are followed (I have my own tedious way, of course), but here I'm messing up full this thing

R2RINET.DLL is present in my system since 11/13/24 & was modified ten days after, dunno by which other software. Is a file made by our Witches, I guess is part of WAFU or some other tool made for protect achieved functionality in several moded releases.

EDIT; but probably R2RINET is installed by this release too if not previously present!

Blocking anything in the host file is irrelevant since these plugins are time bombing on a completely offline pc. I had to stop using El Juan when I opened a project and realized the track with the plugin stopped passing audio. You can reopen the project and it works until you open the plugin and change any settings and it will eventually stop passing audio again.

My experience about El Juan was exactly the same, but I had time to build many guitar chains with Level Loc along the week 'till a few hours ago. Is a really weird case being a R2R release, my first time.

Well, honestly, I don't know what to think about this based on the comments. I installed it the day it was released, but apart from a few minutes of testing, I haven't really looked into it to see if it works for me in the long run or not. It's definitely a cool plugin and I like what it does to the sound, but after the feedback here, I'm not sure I'll make it a "permanent resident" among my frequently used plugins. I'll try it out for more than a few minutes soon. I thank AvenocturnO for his help in the comments, although I note that I'm not sure I'll fill my hosts file with so many addresses, when 1-2 addresses were enough for other plugins. As for the other tricks, it would be nice if it worked without them.

Anyway, I'm curious to see if R2R will release something about this or not.

You can check it here too & keeps on collaborating with my broken finger after several days hahahaa

To mod the hosts file wont harm your machine, the worst possible scenario could be that you'll can't access to the listed sites, none of those are necessary for me (I guess neither for you), but u could delete the specific/s line in case u need it. I mean, is healthy & reversible, is the same about to block the VST3 & the .aaxplugin, u can block/unblock as u wish when you want, there's no danger for any system at all.

I only use VST3...I will test again today in reaper 7 while online running a few more instances of the plugin.. So far so good here 🤞

I'm sorry for all the noise that I've done.
