Mission One: Sound Quality

Optional Non-linear Enhancement
A guitar cabinet can be simulated well enough by convolution because 99% of the cabinet / speaker’s behavior is linear. But what about the last 1% of nonlinearity?

Not only as a transparent linear IR loader, Cabinetron also modeled the non-linear behavior of how the voice coil moves within the magnet. With the enhancement of nonlinearity, more real cabinet-like all your IR’s will be, and more ‘3D’ your tone will sound.

Of course, you have full control of this parameter. Tweak it or leave it, it’s up to you.

I guess The Witches produces their security countermeasures in clean & updated OSs to avoid every possible bug. I've solved simmilar issues in many machines by;

*Uninstall, restart & install again the whole VC runtimes packages (last 2015-2022 included)
*Update system, restart.
*CMD as Admin, run:

DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /StartComponentCleanup

Great. There were some kgs in the recent past which made me nuts when the user account has an accent over a character, or any other non regular stuff (as for an user name). In those cases I've simply modified the user name a little bit (in the request file or in the kg itself). Audio Modeling R2R's releases was one of those cases.

Oh my God, why didn't the respected V.R., SEnki, MOCHA and others crack this? And now I have to dance with a tambourine around the R2R keygen, which also flies off...

No crash for me in Win 10, but i get "Invalid Machine ID file."

MachineID file should read [myMachineID.cbn_MachineID] for the 'Cabinetron' and should create an [ActivationCode.cbn_key] file.
Notice: the .cbn as these 3 letters will change for different TBT Products.
Make sure you selected correct MachineID file wherever you saved it and also in the Keygen too

Obviously i do it but obtained the invalid file message. I will try with the new keygen release.

Edit: the problem was the keygen. The new 1.0.2 version solved my issue. App and plugin registered, time to see if all works well.

Having an issue where the latest R2R keygen 1.0.2 has no issues generating offline activation file but after loading the plugin two to three times in my DAW or using standalone the plugin no longer stays activated. I reactivate it and eventually the plugins deactivate.

Has anyone else seen this same behavior?

I haven't checked this yet, I just tested Spec Craft yesterday (it is also a Three-Body Technology plugin - R2R release) and sometimes it deactivates for me too. It seems total random. I can recall a saved session and the plugin stays active, but after a certain time it happens that I have to activate it again. I activated it with the original keygen, I didn't try the new one, because why, if I didn't have a problem with the activation process.

It's strange for an R2R release, but again: I haven't tested this Cabinetron yet. Even so, R2R is by far the most reliable team. (Edit: If it's not going to stay active all the time, I'll stick with the SEnki release.)

Keeps returning to install mode so I have to reload the key every time. Any ideas for a fix?

In my case all TBTech R2R's releases works fine, but, as I always do, I've watched inside the files & collected all written URLs in order to block outcoming calls. Try this & tell us if helps.

I don't use little snitch I use radio silence, could you post the the URLs?
Then I will try blocking them in the Terminal. As Radio Silence had no effect.

I am now thinking it is a time bomb as other of these have also now done the same.

I just didn' want to duplicate the post, as is stated in the AUDIOZ rules. Those URLs are in the post that I've linked. Sometimes, specially at startup, firewall managers become slower than apps home calls, that's why to mod the hosts file is usually necessary about certain apps.

By the way, if the apps are timebombed, why I have them workin' fine?, if nobody blocks the stated sites we'll can't go forward searchin' for a real answer, if you know about someone who made the hosts modification please let me know. Anyway, every pointless
hosts mod is easyly reversible.

I've since modified my resolver (hosts) file and have since had no problems with any of the TBT plugins or standalone app for Cabinetron. However when I used WireShark to check for any plugin calls the one that came up over and over was:

api.threebodytech.com

I set to resolve the domain to 0.0.0.0 and flushed my local DNS cache. So far it's been two days and zero issues where as prior to moding the file it was deactivating about every 2-3 plugin init.

I did see your DNS host list but did not use it as to see if the api. domain would be the only thing needed.

Understood. The URLs that I've wrote are written inside some of the plugins, had no time to inspect more, but I'll take your *api* one too. I've found GlobalSign as a property checker for several software producers, but I had no time to check the concrete outcoming calls through DNSQuerySniffer. About the www prefix I've experienced it as necessary in many other cases (eg.; Overloud), I use it always for all that I install since their 2023 bundle.

Did you block only "api.threebodytech.com" or also the ones AvenocturnO linked to? Was 0.0.0.0 used without "www"?

I only blocked "api.threebodytech.com" so far it's still working as just a min ago. I checked every plugin (I use Cab, and the Deep Vintage suite). I'm on day 3 with no deactivation.
