Plugin Alliance Maag EQ4 MS v1.0.0 Incl Patched and Keygen-R2R screenshot
Team R2R | 09 Oct 2024 | 27.4MB
Control Mäag Audio’s flagship EQ and its AIR BAND® like never before

Overview
Mäag EQ4 M is a 6-band dual channel mastering EQ that counts Chris Lord-Alge (Greenday, Madonna, U2) and Tony Visconti (David Bowie, T. Rex, Esperanza Spalding) among its many fans. Now Brainworx, the masters of analog modeling, have finally transformed this renowned hardware into the Mäag EQ MS plugin.

Mäag EQ4 M “in the box”
Brainworx worked closely with the Mäag family on the Mäag EQ4 MS, to deliver the most accurate emulation of Mäag hardware ever. This unique design provides unparalleled transparency and top end presence while maintaining the true natural sound behind the signal or mix. Get even more flexibility with two optional center frequencies and bell-characteristics in lower bands.

Harness the AIR BAND®
No Mäag EQ would be complete without an exact recreation of Mäag’s trademark AIR BAND®. This is the ‘secret sauce’ of production giants David Reitzas, Dylan Dresdow, and Dave Pensado. The AIR BAND® brings smooth air frequencies to your top end without harshness. It works great on drums and instruments, but it really shines through on vocals. You can hear its sparkle on tracks from Celine Dion, Madonna, Justin Timberlake, and countless others.

The definitive Mäag EQ emulation
Nothing sounds more like the Mäag hardware, and nothing gives you more control over Mäag’s legendary AIR BAND®. Use it across your mix, on individual tracks, busses and stems, with a new level of control only possible in the digital realm. Brainworx has also added adjustable bands, monomaker, soft clipper and patented Brainworx TMT.

Beyond the hardware
Brainworx has also expanded the controls of the original hardware, achieving accurate stereo and m/s processing without compromising its exceptional sound quality. Push undesirable frequencies out of the limelight and bring hidden treasures to the fore, without compromising the range in the center of your acoustic field. Mäag EQ4 MS gives you more control over the stereo field than any previous Mäag plugin or hardware.

Yours is kinda in the same vein as my ramblings in response to Steve Dude above. I dig the workflow as well.

all EQ2 bands are in the selectable frequency points. It's identical to the EQ2 plugins. Obviously taken from there and squeezed into this plugin.

Why do you keep bad mouthin other crackers and taking shots at them btw? I saw you in ableton 12.1 post too talking about how audiowarez crack team isn't "serious" when that crack and software works completely fine if you are smart enough to follow the instructions. No one makes bad cracks on purpose. Unless you can do better than these non "serious" crackers then be nice and grateful for people who spend days of their lives making free content?

I could easely mention a handfull of plugs out of this list I would never use. I don't name them because it's just a very individuall thing. I like the Maag EQ's for the punch they bring and will love to test this new one. Also they are super CPU-friendly and small in size which means, they are proper coded, just as a little bonus.

Thank you so much , R2R . I cannot take advantage of this because I do not have the skills . But still it is great to be able to fiddle around a bit without limits without compromising the purchased ones

People that attack or degrading crackers like VR or Audiowarez etc... probably would be people that work in the companies that are selling plugins that have been cracked. I think it's almost obvious!

Stepped knobs are bad. There is a huge difference for each half of db step.
Other than that it's a Maag EQ, it can do miracles on de-mudding tracks and add weight.

the gain of the step is weird.

Low end roughly :

0.5 = 0.5db
1 = 1.5db
1.5 = 2.5db
2 = 5db

High End 2.5kHz :

0.5 = 1.5db
1 = 2.5db
1.5 = 4db
2 = 6db

not sure what they are thinking.

maybe those wacky detents are present on the actual analog gear as well???

Then again this a v1.00. Might possibly be the weird detent anomalies get fixed in v1.01...

I didn't check it on an analyzer but I can definetely hear it. Even if this is a hardware peculiarity which I don't remember, in VST world, they should be able to give us the ability to go continuous and stepped, for those who want to maintain the original flavor, for some reason.

I mean Pulsar did this with so many EQs lately and they nailed it on how good it looks and how comfy is to dial things.

For a mastering EQ, which is my main use for this, i would have to either compromise or not use it at all.

I'm still not gonna hop ranting 'n raving onto the latest anti-PA bandwagon to make sure I'm regarded as some sort of savvy, seasoned vet.
I liked the old maag EQs, I may like this one too.

yo, check out my full report on the first page. Come join the bandwagon, a lot of empty seats here.

Dunno... empty seats in bandwagons usually indicate that the group got into the kool-aid earlier than they were supposed to and they're all worm food. Still... tempting. How's the upholstery lookin? I'm not gonna be seen in a wagon with faux-leather upholstery.

MaaaaaaaaaaaaaG. Sounds like a sheep fart... So, how much different is the sound from these plugins from the actual analog gear ??? Never used these in analog.

HW are best, obviously: transformers, preamps, organic electronic components, etc. But these emulations sounds very good for the price, and maybe PA has a better sound engine now with the help from Native Instruments... may be... Thanks DECiBELLE and R2R, the kings!
