It is true, for Mac users they launched some... but not on Windows. Finally the Tr boxes were updated and the serious synchronization error with the Daw was corrected, here is only the previous version, which for me is impossible to use with that fatal error. I cross my fingers!

Would be nice if that happened but it's only selected Roland stuffz that R2R let loose I'm afraid. Still waiting for the RE-201 - even requested it. A lot of Roland's for apple, but not as much for the win side...

Does the Roland stuff use Codemeter? Did not know that if it does...

Just out of curiosity, what are the advantages of Sequoia over other DAWs? I’m asking seriously, having tried most of them, and finally landing on Reaper, which is what worked best for my workflow. To the degree that I actually ended up buying a license to support them. So I’m not actually looking for a new DAW, but I’m always open to learn something new. Cheers

In my experience, you can no longer convince REAPER users that another DAW is better. And that's fine.
Sequoia is probably no better than REAPER or any other DAW. (Even though some users claim that Sequoia is the DAW that "sounds" the best.) It's just different. If Sequoia fits your workflow better and/or is the DAW you learned audio editing on, then you'll probably use Sequoia for the rest of your life. Personally, I've always appreciated the stability of Sequoia. Even on large and complex surround projects. There's also the 4-point editing and object-based working. Nevertheless, I switched to Nuendo in 2022 because Sequoia has everything for Dolby Atmos except a renderer. Nuendo has a built-in Atmos renderer.

I've been waiting for a new version of Sequoia for so long. But then R2R released this great Silk emulator and I switched from Sequoia to Nuendo.

However, I would be very happy to see a new version of Sequoia.
