Acustica Audio Azure 2 2023-R2R screenshot
Team R2R | 27 Nov 2023 | 279.3MB
Azure2 is a true-to-life emulation of a passive, hand-made equalizer characterized by tube make-up stages and the finest transformers, making it ideal for a wide range of applications. The transparency and three-dimensional quality of the original hardware is simply unmatched in the industry. The life it can breathe into mixes, vocals, and instruments will astound you and its infinite possibilities will blow your mind. Compared to similar designs, it makes everything sound more “like a record.”

A witch says,

Library is completely decrypted, decompressed, DRM related bloat removed, and built to the clean one.

Acustica is using RC4 for encrypting Nebula2 image files (N2P, N2S, N2V). RC4 is outdated weak protection, thus deprecated in many software / libraries. Not good for both security and speed.

For the library encryption (used by software), simple XOR with key mangling is enough. By using SSE2, XOR crypt can process data by 16 bytes at once, which results good decryption speed. AES with hardware acceleration should be good too.

There are lots of better secured crypto. However, hackers can extract any crypto key in the desktop apps by using debugger. R2R has made tons of keygens for tons of crypto as you know. There are no good reason to use slow crypto in the audio plugins. Just use simple and faster one - or ditch crypto.

Do you know the reason r2r have been using trial versions is? Is it a supply/cost issue? The trial versions don't have the same fixes/optimizations as the full versions. It's not like other plugin companies, the trial and full are different packages

Know? Not. But the trial versions are for sure easier to get and maybe easier to crack?

Obviously it's a cost / no provider's issue. Do you think that they would buy all these plugins... please ...

quote by monstrinho1571It's 2023, it's a plugin that only works on 44.1, 96... Sad... They still talk bad about "waves...

Does this mean that if I'm in the middle of a DAW session set to 48 khz I cannot instantiate this version ? Or more clearly...will I have an inconsistent spectral/harmonic response compared to a DAW in 44.1 ?
If paedophilia is just an orientation issue, then burying you all is just a matter of gardening...

if working @48kHz - just run in inside Bluecat's Patchwork with 2X OS, high CPU tho. 44.1kHz is fine.

Thank you so much for this! Glad to try this passive power:) People who are complaining about these plugins truly don’t know what they are doing. I love this sound and others by AA. It really makes me wonder what outboard gear some of you are using because this is kick ass.

cpu usage is insane...for me impossibile to use in oversampling 2x, just with this plugin with Intel Core i5-1135G7 buffer size 1024...

CPU spikes every second, tick tock. I haven't experienced this with any of the other Acustica releases... VST2 and VST3 tested.

Heavy CPU peak, and really don't like the preamp who make all blurry, like a glue that changes the overall tone, rather disappointed with this one!

Someone know if Eksa from Knifaudio was emulate or reinterpret in plugin?
